I’m not quite sure how I feel about there being a spin-off of the Office.
While I’ve even joked about this to my brother, I feel like it’ll take some of the mystery of Dwight Schrute away.
Like, it’s nice to wonder what he does when he goes home, and how his family/neighbors act.
Now it’s going to be shown to us?
I also don’t like that Rainn is perfectly fine with moving on from the Office.
Speaking of leaving the Office, I also don’t like that Mindy Kaling had spoken about leaving in the past, too.
It was already hard enough to cope with Michael leaving. If Dwight and Kelly left, I feel like the show would just fall apart.
I think I’d rather them finish the show than have them leave. I want the show to end on a high note, not end because it went into a slow decline.
Luckily, this is all talk atm, and Mindy’s comments were made back in 2010/early 2011 (if I’m correct). I’m not mourning the Office quite yet.
