I'm Ashleigh Brooke Ahern. I photograph people, preferably the musically inclined.
Currently dreaming of Chicago and NYC while I waste away in South Florida.
I suffer from an extreme case of wanderlust. I want to go everywhere, to see it all with a friend and a bag of film.
I have rather large dreams and aspire to do more than I could ever accomplish.
I'm a hopeless romantic who does not believe in marriage for myself.
I giggle at the small stuff, and laugh hysterically when I should simply giggle.
I have quite the affinity for hipsters.
I'm rather negative, though I tend to not show it.
I always hope for and dream of the best, even if I'm sure of what is truly to come.
I sometimes worry more than is necessary.
I get by.

. .
Off to a Hasidic Jewish wedding… kill me now.
I feel so awkward.
The skirt is past/down to my knees, but it’s one I got while thrifting not too long ago, and I’m slightly in love with it. I’m also wearing a cardigan because, a, my shirt is too form-fitting, and, b, my elbows have to be covered…. I’m mostly ohk with this cuz I love cardigans and it’s a brand new cream one with bows on the pockets from H&M.
Then, there’s the shirt. Oh the shirt. I refused to buy anything from anywhere but H&M because I knew that was the only place that would have something that I mildly like. I’ll admit, it’s a cute top. Fully black with a cream collar that is completely bedazzled with rhinestones. The only problem I have with it is how high the neckline is. It’s not that I like to show off  my cleavage, it’s that, when you have cleavage, higher necklines aren’t nearly as flattering.  I also never wear shirts with high necklines, so this just feels weird to me.
Another thing to make me feel uncomfortable: I’ll be stuck with women allllll day. Men and women cannot communicate at all. My step-mom was joking around about hooking me up with a guy there… if I even see a guy, I’ll be amazed.
Ugh, kill me now.
